Give It Some Thought ...
We hope that "The Everett Gayzette" has interesting information for you, and that you enjoy receiving it and reading it.

We now send out about 150 newsletters each month, and are glad to do that. But to save on postage expenses, we would like to encourage you to read the "Gayzette" on line at http://www.gaysnohomish.org/ instead of receiving it in the mail.

If you would like to have your name removed from the mailing list for any reason, please let John know by leaving a message at his e-mail address johndmarsh@mac.com or by returning the "Gayzette" with a note on it (Return to sender) and we will get the message okay.

Thanks for thinking about it. ~~~~~John

Sno-Globe, the Snohomish County Gay/Lesbian Owner and Business Entrepreneurs networking group
Greetings!

Sno-Globe, the Snohomish County Gay/Lesbian Owner and Business Entrepreneurs networking group, hosts monthly business and social networking meetings for GLBT businesses, business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals, as well as straight allies, in Snohomish County. Join us to help get the word out about you and your business and network with other GLBT and allied business people in Snohomish County.

Sno-Globe is not like other networking groups in that the structure is quite loose and its about getting to know the people in the group. Once you know people, you can refer to them with confidence. Other networking groups but the emphasis on formal meetings and having to make referrals at each meeting. With Sno-Globe, there is no pressure to make referrals. Rather, the focus is on making personal connections.

Snohomish Health District offers HIV/AIDS prevention and case management programs.

Call (425) 339-5251 or go to the web site: http://www.snohd.org/comdisease2/hiv_cm_hous.html
This website contains HIV prevention messages that may not be appropriate for all audiences. Because HIV infection is spread primarily through sexual practices or by sharing needles, prevention messages and programs may address these topics.

Q: I need help with my prescription drug costs and I'm too young for Medicare. What can I do?

A: Contact the manufacturer of your medicine:
Most companies offer free or low-cost prescription drigs to low-income people who meet their eligibility guidelines. Also, many states provide help. Call your state health department and check out www.aarp.org/bulletin/prescription (click on "your guide to state-run and private pharmacy assistance programs"). Other sources: www.needymeds.com (click on "Patient Assistance Programs") and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America at www.phrma.org .
